The Northwest Oklahoma Genealogy Society’s Dec. 14 meeting is the annual Christmas Social. It will be held in at the Alva Public Library at 10 a.m. Delicious Christmas treats will be shared, and members and guests will share their genealogy research finds of the year and their “brick walls.”

NWOGS has ten programs per year. Several of the suggested topics for the 2020 programs will assist in learning how to use new resources to help with genealogy research such as adoption, military and veteran records and others. Membership fees are $20 per individual and $30 per family.
