Waynoka woman charged with meth distribution

With the help of a confidential source, Waynoka police stopped a vehicle and recovered meth valued at about $2,000.

Court documents show on Aug. 26, Waynoka Police Chief Misty Smiley was contacted by a confidential source (CS) who reported being approached by Natalie Steffen on several occasions trying to sell methamphetamine. The CS did not want to be around anyone using or selling meth.

On Sept. 2 about 1:30 p.m. Smiley was contacted by the CS advising Steffen was trying to get a ride to Woodward and had an unusually large amount of meth and marijuana on her person. The suspected meth was de...
