Jacob Charles Somerhalder, 96, of Burlington, Oklahoma, passed away on December 12, 2019, with his beautiful wife of 68 years, Bonita, by his side.

Jacob was born on November 14, 1923, in Burlington, Oklahoma, the third of seven children born to Elias and Mary Somerhalder. Jake attended Burlington schools and after graduation from high school served his country for three years in the South Pacific as a Marine.
