Cherokee city manager seeks help from Alfalfa County

The three Alfalfa County commissioners were joined by Cherokee City Manager Mike Jones this past Monday morning as the snow quietly fell outside. The three men – Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall – listened as Jones took the floor to ask for help with an overhaul on Cherokee's Ohio Street.

Right now, Jones said, an overlay project at Cherokee-Alfalfa County Regional Airport is in the works and while it's being installed there maybe a contract could be made between that paving company and Alfalfa County to have an overlay placed on Ohio Street.
