A Medford man was hospitalized after he jumped out of a moving vehicle. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 1:34 p.m. on Kiowa Road, four-tenths of a mile west of County Road 920. The location is six and six-tenths miles east of Wakita in Grant County.

Amy Beth Biggerstaff, 42, of Medford, was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck west on Kiowa Road. The OHP report says the driver and a passenger, Even Wayne Burkhart, 44, of Medford, were both intoxicated and got into a verbal argument. Burkhart jumped out of the moving pickup.
