The Alva Ladybugs traveled to Newkirk Tuesday, adding another game to their win column. Newkirk is building a new gym but it’s not ready yet. In the current gym, the out of bounds lines seem really close and that gave the visitors a few problems.

Going into the game, the Alva Ladybugs were favorites with a 5-0 record, but the Lady Tigers didn’t make the victory easy. Although the Ladbybugs trailed once in the first period, they generally stayed ahead. Newkirk tied them three times.
