Alva Chamber asks for award nominations

Jodie Bradford, interim director of the Alva Chamber of Commerce, welcomed guests to the December Community Coffee held Friday at Alva's Market. As everyone enjoyed a buffet of a breakfast casserole, fresh fruits and donuts, Bradford introduced Chet Shelite of Alva's Market.

Shelite gave a brief welcome and announced the winners of grocery store's bicycle drawings. Rosaline Murrow won the boy's bike and Adrianna Winters won the girl's bike.

Bradford said that Bradt's Menagerie would be holding their live Nativity Dec. 20-22 from 5 to 7 p.m. every half hour. Also she's taken in over $17,000...
