Kerri D. Covalt, 50, of Alva, was admitted in critical condition to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City Monday following a collision southwest of Alva. Her injuries are described as trunk internal, head and arm injuries. She was transported from the accident scene by Alva EMS to Share Medical Center and then transported to OU Medical Center by Air-Evac. She was pinned in her vehicle and extricated by the Alva Fire Department using Jaws of Life.
