Eclectic assortment of art at tonight's Art Walk

The January First Friday Art Walk tonight in Alva will feature a variety of artistic styles and materials. Titled "Contemporary Eclectic," the exhibit at the Graceful Arts Gallery includes oil painting and wax collages by Sherry Ball Schoenfeldt, contemporary paintings by Kathleen House, pottery by Isaac Shue, steam punk work by Nick Bradt and sleek polished wood carvings by Mike McGinley.

From 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, visitors may tour the exhibit while enjoying delicious refreshments. In addition to the featured artists, the gallery includes work by other area artists to be enjoyed. There is...
