Alva Goldbugs lose to Maroons 51-27

The Alva Goldbugs were hoping for a victory as they traveled to Blackwell Friday night. After all, in the last contest between the teams in Alva, the Goldbugs lost by only four points. Another plus was having senior Reece Martin back on the court after he suffered a collarbone injury during football season. Cole Hague was also back after a concussion.

Unfortunately, Goldbug leading scorer Jackson Feely got into foul trouble early and spent a lot of time on the bench. The hopes of victory slipped away with Blackwell winning 51-27.
