The whole community and surrounding area is coming together to support Burlington student Dakota Smith. He was diagnosed with anaplastic large cell lymphoma, stage 4, in December.

Smith is a sophomore at Burlington High School and is a member of the basketball team, FFA, band and vocal.

The Pond Creek-Hunter boys and girls basketball teams wore Team Dakota T-shirts on Jan. 16 alongside the Burlington teams in support of Dakota. Timberlake also purchased Team Dakota T-shirts for their teams.
