Ladybugs get homecoming victory over Newkirk

The Ladybugs had an easy victory over Newkirk at home Tuesday, winning 52-26. Rianna Clark was back on the court after taking some time to heal a shoulder injury.

Newkirk stayed fairly close to the Alva team in the first quarter, trailing by four points at 11-6. However, the Ladybugs ran away with the game in the second, making 14 points to the Lady Tigers' three. Alva led 26-9 at the half. In the third period, Alva added another 13 points to Newkirk's nine for a 39-18 margin. Newkirk never gained the lead during the game.
