City Council approves bid for booster pump station

The City of Alva has received a Department of Environmental Quality permit for installation of a new booster pump station replacing one currently on Oklahoma Boulevard at 14th Street. The booster station will include three 50-hp pumps with variable frequency drives. The Alva City Council acknowledged receipt of the permit during their meeting Tuesday, Jan. 21.
