Declining taxes cause concern for Waynoka ambulance service

Waynoka Mayor Susan Bradford attended the Woods County commissioners’ meeting Monday morning to discuss her town’s difficulty in continuing ambulance service. She says there is a strong need for local ambulance service for the largest tourist attraction in the county, Little Sahara State Park. The ambulance responds to many accidents on the dunes. Waynoka also has a large aged population who rely on the ambulance for medical emergencies.
