Alva City Council to appoint interim city manager

The Alva City Council will hold a special meeting today, Jan. 31, at 5:15 p.m. to officially accept the resignation of City Business Manager Joe Don Dunham. He submitted his resignation to the personnel committee on Monday, Jan. 27. The resignation is effective Feb. 29. Dunham has accepted a position with the City of Guymon.
The council will then enter into executive session to discuss the employment of Angelica Brady as Interim City Business Manager. Brady has worked for the city several years and is currently the executive assistant to Dunham.
