In a special meeting Friday, the Alva City Council voted to employ Angelica Brady as interim city business manager. The action followed the acceptance of the resignation of Joe Don Dunham as the city business manager.
Although the city's contract with Dunham requires a 60-day notice, Mayor Kelly Parker said the personnel committee was willing to allow the resignation to take effect Feb. 29 as requested.
