Ladybugs top Riverside's Lady Braves 58-35

After a week off, the Alva Ladybugs traveled to Enid for a Friday morning game with the Riverside Lady Braves from Anadarko. It was the first game of a two-day Enid Downtown Basketball Festival. The Ladybugs seemed a little slow getting started, but it didn't matter as they easily defeated Riverside 58-35.

The Lady Braves were all over the floor causing turnovers, but Alva was good at that too. By the half, Alva had nine turnovers and Riverside ten. The Ladybugs got on the scoreboard quickly, and Riverside never had the lead.

The Ladybugs dominated the first quarter and led 17-4 at the buzz...
