Public meeting to address Crabtree closing concerns

A public meeting of Concerned Citizens for Crabtree will be held Sunday, Feb. 9. The meeting will be at 3 p.m. in the Timberlake High School Auditorium in Helena. There is concern that James Crabtree Correctional Center (JCCC) in Helena may be on the list of prisons planned for closing.

Guest speakers will include JCCC Warden Rick Whitten, Sen. Roland Pederson, Rep. Carl Newton and Mayor Garrett Powell. Anyone interested is invited to attend....
