Counter to cross in Cherokee

This is an article to counter that group of people proposing to erect an 80-foot pipe cross located across the street to the west of the Cherokee Inn and just north of the Jiffy Trip. The cross is a Christian icon that is certainly very meaningful to Christians.

It also can be very intrusive to others. In the retail environment, where the Inn is located, one has to ask, “WHY” bring up the subject? It brings no financial merit to our city.
