South Barber seniors Lyons and Rooks sign with Bethel College for football scholarships

South Barber seniors Zane Lyons and Trevor Rooks were teammates as Chieftains with a career record of 36-7, according to their coach Matt Cantrell. Now the two will start their collegiate educational and football careers as teammates playing for the Bethel College Threshers in Newton, Kansas next fall. Both men signed letters of intent to play football at Bethel last Wednesday.

"I'm very proud of them both. They both did a great job this year and throughout their career leading the South Barber football program," coach Cantrell said. He provided impressive stats on both players.
