The first of four town hall meetings on the Alva Swimming Pool will be held Saturday afternoon. The meeting is from 3 to 5 p.m. in Classroom 3 at the Alva Recreation Complex. The Alva Pool Task Force is asking citizens with ideas or opinions about how to renovate or replace the swimming pool facility and how to finance the project.

Three other meetings are scheduled to give citizens ample opportunity to attend. The other meetings are Tuesday, Feb. 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Alva High School Auditorium; Thursday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Alva City Hall; and Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m....
