It had been a long time since the Avard Regional Rail Park Authority convened in executive session, but the streak was broken this past Tuesday night. Chairman Stan Bixler and members Ed Sutter and Todd Holder were present while members Bob Firth and Allan Poe each joined in separately via cell phone. Also in attendance was Woods County Economic Development Committee (WCEDC) executive director Sonja Williams, and, in the gallery, Woods County commissioner Randy McMurphy.
