Honeyman named Public Safety Professional of the Year

Brenda Hood presents the Public Safety Professional Award to Woods County Deputy Adam Honeyman at Alva's 5th Annual Citizens Choice Awards Gala.

Woods County Deputy Sheriff Adam Honeyman is the Public Safety Professional of the Year. He was presented the award Feb. 10 at the 5th Annual Citizens Choice Awards Gala in Alva.

Honeyman is a 2001 graduate of Medford Public Schools. He graduated with his bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in sociology in 2018 from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Honeyman will be graduating with his master's degree from NWOSU this May.
