Ruthie Spurgeon is presented the Healthcare Professional by Brenda Hood at Alva's 5th Annual Citizens Choice Awards Gala.
Ruth Spurgeon went to work at Share Medical Center in 1984. She started working there as a nurses aid and unit clerk. At that time she went to Autry Technology Center to be a certified Surgical Technologist.
Ten years later Spurgeon graduated from NWOSU, receiving her degree as a registered nurse. Upon graduating she went back to Share Medical Center and until this day works as night shift charge nurse and works in the emergency room....
