Over the past five years the Alva Arena Authority has worked on plans for an arena and exhibition hall. Meanwhile the Alva Tourism Committee has carefully budgeted tourism tax collections with the expectation of helping the project. In this month’s meeting set for Wednesday, the arena finally makes an appearance on the agenda. The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers of City Hall.
