Kiowa Council hears update on waterline project

New wood desk/furniture and cushy chairs give the newly renovated Kiowa City Council meeting chambers a warm, professional look. The City of Kiowa's new logo shown on the wall here is also beautifully displayed throughout the renovated city hall, council, police department and more. Kiowa's City Council sat in their new chambers that are nearing completion for their regular monthly meeting Feb. 10. This is in the building directly to the east of the city office that was the Terwort building before the city purchased it to remodel.
The new spacious area has multiple rows of seating for the public. That's compared to the tight, crammed space at the city office next door where often citizens have packed in for years, sometimes with standing room only. At the February meeting only a handful of the public attended.
