Art show adds special food category, still life for 17th annual event

Anyone looking for inspiration on what type of art to create for this year's NWOSU Art Society Art Show can look at pieces like these that were entered in last year's show or visit http://bit.ly/ArtShowPics for more ideas. Entry forms are due Feb. 26.
A special category has been added to the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Art Society (NAS) Art Show this year – Food. And, for every entry into this special category, the Campus Cabinet food pantry will benefit because to enter the category, a canned food item must be provided as well.
"The Campus Cabinet celebrated its first year of existence on Jan. 16 and because the art society is instrumental in getting the food pantry for our students and employees up and going, we wanted to merge the two again through the art show," Angelia Case, NAS sponsor, said.
