Piling on kindness; Fundraiser helps girl help others

What started out as a young lady's 4-H service project has quickly turned into a fundraising phenomenon. Kayla Leeper, 11, the founder of Kayla's Kindness Project, just wrapped up her second annual fundraiser meal Friday night, raising thousands of dollars and closing it out as a big success exactly like last year's. The taco pile-on was held at the Cherokee Strip Museum annex building and provided by the Woods County 4-H club. Proceeds from the event will go toward products used to assemble care packages for hospital patients – the whole premise of Leeper's project.
