Cherokee student charged with threatening principal

A Cherokee High School student has been charged in Alfalfa County after allegedly posting social media threats against a principal.
Court records show on Feb. 12 at approximately 9:30 a.m. Cherokee Police Chief Ryan McNeil was contacted by Cherokee High School Principal Jeremy Hickman. The principal learned that a student who had been suspended from the school had posted threats on social media to cause harm to Hickman.
The student was identified as Dagan Cyres Wade, 18. Wade was known to Chief McNeil from prior incidents including the one resulting in Wade being suspended from school on Feb....
