Maine food producers to tout state wares at West Coast expo

 


PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Eleven food producers from Maine that specialize in beloved exports like lobsters and blueberries are headed to a California food expo to tout the state's products.

The producers are scheduled to appear at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, which runs from Tuesday to Saturday. The companies slated to appear at the event include Wyman's, which is best known for wild blueberries, along with Luke's Lobster and Bristol Seafood, the Portland Press Herald reported.

The event typically draws 3,500 exhibitors and close to 90,000 people in the food industry.
