The Alva Board of Education will vote on renewal of contracts for three principals during their meeting Monday. The board will meet at 5 p.m. in the district office.

Principal contracts up for renewal for the next school year are Stephanie Marteney at Alva Middle School, Alysson Tucker at Longfellow Elementary and Shane Feely at Washington Elementary.

The board will hear a presentation of the drop-out report by Alva High School Principal Les Potter. There will be discussion and action on a contract with Ignite Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab for physical therapy service for the remainder of the FY20. A revised extra duty schedule is also on the agenda.

The Alva FFA has made an out of state travel request to attend livestock judging contests on April 3 in Fort Scott, Kansas, and April 21 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Electric Gold is requesting approval for out of state travel to Texas for April 8-11.
