Spring was in the air Monday morning when commissioners in Alfalfa County met for their weekly meeting. With a pretty easy agenda in front of them, Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall began by deviating slightly from the usual orders of business to approve a new account for Alfalfa County Treasurer Valerie Vetter (who was present as well). The account is to be called 2019 Protest Tax with Vetter, Donna Irvin, and Melissa Colvin designated as signers.
