March Rotary Students of the Month honored

 

Todd Ruwaldt, Alva Rotarian John Ryerson, Aspen Warren.

Todd Ruwaldt

Ruwaldt is the son of Chris and Karol Ruwaldt.

High school activities include playing football. He is employed by Northwest Feed & Seed. Todd plans to play football at Northwestern Oklahoma State University while working on obtaining a degree in business. The best advice he can give a freshman is, "Stay positive at all times and enjoy life." His personal philosophy is, "Stay positive even when you do not feel like it, stay tough mentally."

Aspen Warren

Warren is the daughter of Jett and Teri Warren.

High school activities include Key Club, FCA, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Oklahoma Honor Society, softball and basketball. She is a member of the Alva Church of God and Baptist youth group. Warren is employed at the Alva Recreation Complex. She plans on playing softball at Pratt Community College while working on getting her degree in wellness and sports science to become a softball coach for young kids. The best advice she could give to a freshman is, "Use your resources and treat your teachers kindly and respectfully. Get involved in clubs and organizations and work hard to be the best student you can be." Her personal philosophy is, "Treat every day as if it is your last and trust God in everything that you do."
