True to bureaucratic form, the Alfalfa County commissioners spent a good portion of their morning signing heaps of paperwork.

Jay Hague, Stan Tucker, and Marvin Woodall convened at 10 a.m. to begin the signing process, starting with the maintenance and operation payment warrants, blanket purchase orders, and monthly officer reports. All those items were reviewed and approved and before moving on, the trio happily signed off on some road-crossing permits for Woodall's District 3, totaling $3,500.
