Yvonne Miller

Travis Peterson is the new police chief in Kiowa, Kansas. He was serving as the interim chief of police and Kiowa's City Council held a special meeting March 2. After an executive session the council voted 5-0 to hire Peterson as the new chief of police and he accepted. He was originally hired as a police officer for Kiowa in October of 2018. Peterson came from the Harper County Sheriff's Department and is originally from Argonia.
