The Waynoka School Board held its regular meeting Monday morning, where they heard an update on the construction efforts as well as learning what the students have achieved in the past month.

Kris Richardson from Joe D. Hall General Contractors LLC talked to the board about bond construction updates.

He ran down a long list of further issues, many of them fire marshal changes or other “things that we just need to get done,” Richardson said. “We do have contingency funds left,” he added, of about $100,000, although he would prefer not to have to dip into that.
