Burlington School teachers and administrators preparing for distance teaching and learning

When speaking to Burlington School Superintendent Dr. Stacey Croft Monday afternoon the message from the capitol and Oklahoma Department of Education were evolving regarding COVID-19 and what the pandemic means to the future of the school.

She knew at this point there was to be no school instruction up to April 6. “I'm awaiting word from the state.”

That same day, March 23, she received a letter from the Oklahoma Department of Education that said State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister proposes that the State Board of Education approve distance learning for students starting April 6 and school bui...
