In four weeks, we will be observing Easter. This community (Cherokee), along with many others, entertains some sort of Morning Sunrise Service, which depicts the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The setting of this event is usually in the country, on a hillside where all can observe the Cross against the morning sunshine It should let our minds think about the crucifixion of our Lord. He died the dreadful death on the cross, and, for the believers – He rose from the grave so we can have the promise of salvation.
