Rev. Darin Kearns, pastor of Alva Friends Church and head of the Ministerial Alliance, has been thinking a lot about Holy Week.

“What is that going to look like this year, if anything?” he asked.

Many Alva churches have closed to prevent spreading the virus. “But it's such a hard one because there are some people ridiculing the church because the doors of the church are closed.” But then the church building is not the church, Kearns said.
