Kiowa's City Council held an emergency meeting Sunday evening in the new city hall chambers. Two members were present via Zoom online: Brian Hill and B.J. Duvall. Mayor Bill Watson called the meeting to order with all other members present: R.L. Simpson, Jason Thayer and Tom Wells. City Administrator Rusty Varnado also sat at the table where the council opened with the Pledge of Allegiance followed with a prayer by Simpson. City Clerk Trish Brewer sat in the city office part at her desk running the computer for portions of the meeting.
