Late last week, Congress passed a $2 trillion relief bill to help individuals, families, businesses and states in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The package includes $150 billion in emergency funding for state and local governments, including at least $1.25 billion for Oklahoma. The measure includes direct checks for adult individuals for $1,200 and $2,400 for married couples with an additional $500 for dependents. The bill also includes four months of increased unemployment insurance for Americans who lose their jobs in response to the crisis.
