The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is calling on the world to join in a global interfaith day of prayer and fasting today, Good Friday, April 10. Everyone is invited to participate by praying and abstaining from food for either two meals or 24 hours.

The church suggests prayers center around relief from the COVID-19 pademic, caregiver protection, a strengthened economy, and a normalized life.

Those unable to fast are encouraged to find an alternative sacrifice to make for the day....
