Oklahoma City hospital closed amid coronavirus spread

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — An Oklahoma hospital system has closed all but its emergency room and some outpatient services at an Oklahoma City hospital because of a ban on elective surgeries due to the spread of the coronavirus.

Integris Baptist Medical Center Portland Avenue in northwest Oklahoma City is being closed and an unspecified number of patients will be moved to another Integris hospital in the city because of a drop in patients, Integris Health spokeswoman Brooke Cayot said Thursday.
