A Quarantine Easter

This past weekend was Easter, and Quarantine Easter turned out to be a whole new kettle of fish for people in Alva. There were suddenly different ways of looking at what types of baskets to get, different ways to hunt eggs and different accommodations for family dinners and church services.

With no town-wide egg hunt down on the square, kids were sad and parents were devastated for them as yet another piece of the year seemed "ruined" by COVID-19.
