Nearly a half million dollars is being released to school districts in Woods County following negotiations between DCP Operating Company and Woods County Assessor Renetta Benson. DCP filed tax appeals for 2016 through 2018. After much back and forth between attorneys for DCP and Woods County, agreements were reached in March setting assessed property values for each of the four years.
