Gale Gene Bailey, son of John K. Bailey and Helen I. Johnson, was born in Alva, Oklahoma, on November 5, 1937. He passed away at the Laurel Manor Long Term Care Facility on April 14, 2020, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 9 days old. He attended school in Woods County. He was attending Northwestern Oklahoma State University when he volunteered for military service in 1957; he retired from the military service with 21-plus years of service.
