Alfalfa County turns protocol in policy

Jay Hague, Stan Tucker and Marvin Woodall were present for their weekly Monday meeting. They did what they always do: signed off on the stacks of paperwork awaiting them. They approved the minutes from the meeting last week, maintenance and operation payment warrants, and blanket purchase orders. Once again, there were no road-crossing permits for the week.

The next agenda item that's been listed for a few weeks now is a discussion on concerns or decisions regarding COVID-19. This week, commissioners signed paperwork that deemed their previously enacted security protocol as the official COVID-...
