South Barber plans outdoor graduation in COVID-19 world

With some creativity, South Barber School USD#255 has overcome the dilemma of depriving their 2020 high school graduates of a graduation ceremony, despite restrictions with COVID-19.
The SB Class of 2020 will have a Graduation Ceremony and Parade Saturday, May 9, at 2 p.m. The event will be downtown on Main Street and will certainly meet the social distancing requirement. Superintendent Dr. Mylo Miller said this idea for the outside graduation is the collaboration of many people, including not only administrators and other school personnel, but some community members, students, etc.
