First, I want to say how pleased I was with the decision to begin opening our state’s economy up again. This is a common-sense approach that uses scientific data to get our businesses up and running, along with other activities of day-to-day life. Starting with the opening of personal care businesses on April 24, including beauty and barbershops, nail salons, spas and pet groomers, as well as state parks and outdoor recreation, then expanding to restaurants, movies and sporting venues, gyms and in-person worship services as of May 1, these were welcome steps.
