Share Medical Center receives government financial help

 


Government programs are really coming to the aid of Share Medical Center in Alva. Before the COVID-19 emergency orders and quarantines, Share Medical Center was already dealing with a low patient census. Administrators of the city-owned facility were counting on some delayed reimbursements from Medicare and Medicaid to improve their financial situation. Following the quarantines, the hospital experienced a further drop in patient numbers that resulted in even less hospital revenue.
